Reporting
When to report
Report anything that breaks our Community Guidelines: hate speech, threats, harassment, doxxing, spam, scams, sexual content involving minors, or clear manipulation of polls and votes. Please don't use reports to silence opinions you simply disagree with. Debate them instead.
How to report
Every post and comment on RWO has a report button. Tap it, pick the reason that fits best, and add a short note if it helps explain the context. You can also report a profile from the user's page, and a direct message from the conversation menu.
What happens next
Reports go to our moderation team. We review each one against the guidelines, not by vote count. Depending on the case we may remove the content, warn the member, limit their access to features, or suspend the account. Serious or repeat violations lead to a permanent ban. Where we can, we let the reporter know the outcome.
Anonymity
The person you report does not see who reported them. Our moderators do, so we can spot abuse of the report system itself.
Emergencies
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. RWO cannot replace police, medical services, or crisis lines.
Something the button doesn't cover
For legal notices, copyright takedowns, privacy requests, or anything that doesn't fit an in-app report, email Hello@Realworldopinion.com or use our Contact page.
